Updated on May 14, 2021 – Added details for the Heart of a Warrior Event Quest.

Monster Hunter Rise version 2.0 from Capcom is out now worldwide on Nintendo Switch and it brings Event Quests to the game for the first time. If you’ve not got the game yet, read my review of Monster Hunter Rise here. Today, the first Event Quest has gone live and accessing Event Quests in Monster Hunter Rise differs from Monster Hunter World. This feature will be updated regularly when new Event Quests are added with their rewards and more. Here’s what you need to know.

Monster Hunter Rise Event Quests full list

As of now, the following Event Quests are available in-game:

  • Monster Hunter Rise – Out of Sight, Out of Mind’s Eye Event Quest (April 30) High Rank
  • Monster Hunter Rise – Beast of the Shadows (May 7) High Rank
  • Monster Hunter Rise – Heart of a Warrior (May 14) Low Rank

Monster Hunter Rise – Out of Sight, Out of Mind’s Eye Event Quest

Monster Hunter Rise – Out of Sight, Out of Mind’s Eye Event Quest rewards

Monster Hunter Rise – Beast of the Shadows Event Quest

This Event Quest has you hunting a Nargacuga in the Shrine Ruins. You need to be HR4 or higher for it and it is a 7* quest despite Nargacuga not being a 7* monster in the hub.

Monster Hunter Rise – Beast of Shadows Event Quest rewards

You can unlock the Ninja Set stickers from the Monster Hunter Rise – Beast of the Shadows Event Quest.

Monster Hunter Rise – Heart of a Warrior Event Quest

This Event Quest has you hunting a Goss Harag and Magnamalo in the Arena. It is a 3* quest and you can unlock some titles by completing it. This is another standard quest with just two regular Low Rank monsters with no modifiers or anything different. If you’ve not hunted both of them beyond the key quests, this is definitely a fun hunt for Low Rank hunters.

Monster Hunter Rise – Heart of a Warrior Event Quest rewards

You unlock special titles for your guild card from the Monster Hunter Rise – Heart of a Warrior Low Rank Event Quest. The titles are: Spearheader, One Clean Cut, Exemplary, Bold Hero, Haggard Warrior, Dreadnought, Warrior, Warring Lands, World Gone Mad, and Skirmish.

Monster Hunter Rise – How to download Event Quests and access them

Once you have updated your game whenever applicable, talk to Senri the Mailman in Kamura Village. You also talk to Senri for accessing DLC and add-ons. Once you talk to Senri, claim add-on content and the Event Quest(s) will be added to your game. Once you’ve done this, begin an Event Quest either on your own or through the Join Request feature in the Hub under the new green Event Quests tab on the quest board.
