Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin from Xseed Games and Edelweiss released last year on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The action game meets farming simulation experience was revealed a few years ago and it has finally arrived after multiple delays and is a fantastic experience. Read my review here. We included it in our best games of 2020 as well. Today, a new update for Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin version 1.08 has gone live on Nintendo Switch and version 1.14 has gone live on PS4. The download size for this update is 94.31MB on PS4. This update includes new language support, boss fight difficulty changes, quality of life fixes, unused voice lines now being used, and more. The patch notes in Japanese are same for PS4 and Nintendo Switch and the notes below are for PS4.

Added Content

Added text support for Simplified Chinese and Spanish (Latin America).
Dogs will now greet you upon returning to the pass home.
Dogs and cats can now be carried at the same time.
Implemented some previously unused voice lines.
More than one of a food item can now be processed at once.
Made changes to the porch animations in the latter half of the game.
Added a UI element that shows when in-game time is paused.

Adjustments and improvements

Adjusted difficulty for bosses in the latter half of the game.
Damage now caps at 9,999,999.
Improved effectivenes of using cow to till soil.
Soil nutrients now cap at 9,999.
Reduced the nutrient value for fertilizer with nothing added to it from 10 to 5% when the farming difficulty is set to default.
Adjusted the effects of Alcohol items.
Improved graphical quality of falling snow.
Oil droplet no longer moves during event scenes.
