Persona 5 Royal finally arrives in the West on March 31 and with it comes a plethora of DLC including both free and paid content. There are multiple editions and DLC bundles releasing for the game on PS4. This guide will cover all the DLC available for Persona 5 and the new DLC for Persona 5 Royal.

Persona 5 Royal editions

There are three digital editions for Persona 5 Royal. The Persona 5 Royal standard edition includes Persona 5 Royal. The Persona 5 Royal Deluxe Edition includues the game and the Persona 5 Royal Kasumi Costume Bundle. The Persona 5 Royal Ultimate Edition includes the following:

  • Persona 5 Royal
  • Kasumi Costume Bundle
  • Persona Bundle
  • Six additional costume packs

Persona 5 Royal DLC Bundle prices

The Persona 5 Royal DLC bundles available for purchase separately are as follows:

  • Persona 5 Royal Kasumi Costume Bundle – $14.99
  • Persona 5 Royal Battle Bundle – $9.99
  • Persona 5 Royal Persona Bundle – $9.99
  • Persona 5 Royal DLC Bundle – $59.99

Persona 5 Royal Kasumi Costume Bundle DLC details

The Japanese release of Persona 5 Royal had costumes for Kasumi from the numbered Persona games, Shin Megami Tensei games, and an extra costume set. The costumes here include those from Persona Q2, Persona 4: Dancing All Night, maid clothing, Velvet Room with accessory, Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux, Shin Megami Tensei If…, Persona 4, and more. The Western Persona 5 Royal Kasumi Costume Pack includes four sets of cosmetic items for Kasumi.

Persona 5 Royal Battle Bundle DLC details

The Japanese release of the Persona 5 Royal Battle Bundle DLC included challenge battles with the Persona 3 protagonist, Persona 4 protagonist, and a set of other challenge battles that are even more difficult. This Western Persona 5 Royal Battle Bundle includes the following:

Persona 5 Royal Persona Bundle DLC details

As with Persona 5, Persona 5 Royal has some Personas available as paid DLC. The ones released for Persona 5 Royal in Japan include late-game Personas from Persona 4, Persona 3, and even one designed exclusively for Persona 5 Royal. The Personas were sold separately in Japan but this bundle likely includes the new Personas. The Western Persona 5 Royal Persona Bundle includes the following:

  • Izanagi-no-okami & Izanagi-no-okami Picaro Set
  • Female Orpheus & Orpheus Picaro Set
  • Athena & Athena Picaro Set
  • Persona Raoul

Persona 5 Royal DLC Pack details

The Persona 5 Royal DLC Pack includes the DLC found in the Persona 5 Royal Kasumi Costume Bundle, the Persona 5 Royal Battle Bundle, and the Persona 5 Royal Persona Bundle. The DLC pack also includes 6 individual sets of DLC.

Once you buy the DLC and it downloads or shows up as purchased on PSN, you need to examine the cardboard box in your room to be able to claim any DLC.

How to access Persona 5 DLC in Persona 5 Royal

You need to download the DLC when it is available for free on release day on PSN. An additional download is needed as confirmed to us by a spokesperson from Atlus West. This is being released as the Persona 5 Royal Legacy DLC Bundle which includes it all.

Persona 5 Royal how to change costumes DLC

Once you have bought, downloaded, and checked your cardboard box at home for any DLC, you can change costumes in the main menu by pressing triangle and going into the Equip menu. Select any outfit you own here for each character.

Persona 5 Royal how to change battle music DLC

Once you change Joker’s outfit, the battle music will change accordingly to the DLC music that includes music.
