The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie from NIS America and Falcom is out soon for PS5, PS4, Switch, and Steam in the West. The PC port is being done by PH3 games while the Switch version is not. As with prior games, you can unlock certain bonuses in Trails into Reverie by having system data and clear data from specific games on the same system. How does the Trails into Reverie save data bonus work on PS5
On PS5, you automatically get save data bonuses barring the clear data one regardless of if you have those system data files or not. The clear data bonus is unlocked through a prompt you get. You have to select your PS4 clear save for Cold Steel IV to unlock said bonus.

Trails into Reverie PS4 save data will not be compatible with the PS5 version. All carryover bonuses will be included in the PS5 version for free.

Trails into Reverie save data bonuses across platforms
The save transfer only works for saves on the same platform barring the Cold Steel IV save that works from PS4 to PS5 as long as you have it downloaded. This is how it should work. If anything changes, I’ll update this story.
