I always look forward to playing games I missed out on once everyone starts winding down for the holidays. This year, I’ve been catching up with two games from earlier in the year and one from a few months ago. Developer Keizo’s Astlibra Revision has been one of the best surprises of the year on PC. The 2D action RPG with superb gameplay and an amazing narrative is one of my favorite recent PC games. Until last night, Astlibra Revision was designated as “Playable” on Steam Deck. Earlier today, its status changed and Astlibra Revision is now Steam Deck Verified by Valve. Watch the trailer below:

While I will not be reviewing Astlibra Revision, I urge you to try it out on PC through the free demo. If you enjoy 2D action RPGs and great stories, this is the game for you. Check out the official website for Astlibra Revision here. I’m looking forward to checking it out on Switch in the future. Hopefully it gets a physical release on Switch. It is also good to see it get Verified on Steam Deck by Valve making it an easier game to recommend for anyone who owns a Steam Deck.

Astlibra Revision is out now on PC via Steam. It is coming to Nintendo Switch in the future as confirmed in an interview with RPG Site.
