Atelier Marie Remake: Alchemist of Salburg from Koei Tecmo America and Koei Tecmo Europe is set to release next month for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam as the 25th anniversary celebration release and also a re-imagining of the classic game for modern platforms. This remake has a new visual style, quality of life features, and more. Koei Tecmo has revealed Atelier Marie Remake photo mode and min-games details. The photo mode screenshot below is a glimpse at what is possible in this mode added to the upcoming remake.
Atelier Marie Remake photo mode
Players can play with poses and expressions of Marie and her friends. Pictures taken can then be decorated with stamps and other items, while also enabling players to head to the “Hall of Memories” to change filters, frames and camera angles.

How to access mini-games in Atelier Marie Remake
Mini-games can be accessed from the “Extras” menu and succeeding in these mini-games will reward players with valuable new items.
Atelier Marie Remake pre-order bonus
The Atelier Marie Remake pre-order bonus is the Useful Items Set including the following items:

- Magic Herb ×20
- Hebel Water ×20
- Kanone Rock ×20
You can claim these in-game when you finish the tutorial quests and return to the atelier. You can only get these by having pre-ordered the digital editions by July 12.
Atelier Marie Remake: Alchemist of Salburg Digital Deluxe Edition
On the Atelier Marie Remake: Alchemist of Salburg release date, a Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available. All DLC will be out on July 13. The contents are below:

Atelier Marie Remake: Alchemist of Salburg Digital Deluxe Upgrade Pack
The Atelier Marie Remake: Alchemist of Salburg Digital Deluxe Upgrade Pack will be available on July 13. It lets you upgrade the standard edition to the Digital Deluxe Edition. Pricing is yet to be revealed.
Atelier Marie Plus release date for PS5, Switch, and Steam
This original game, localized for the first time, is available in the Digital Deluxe Edition and for those who purchase the upgrade.
- Full original game “Atelier Marie Plus: The Alchemist of Salburg” included! – “Atelier Marie Plus” can be selected from the title screen of the main game. You can play the game with the same feeling as when it was first released, in modern graphics, and in the same language as the main game.
Atelier Marie Remake: Alchemist of Salburg physical release
Both the Koei Tecmo America and Koei Tecmo Europe have confirmed that the Western release is digital-only.
I’m looking forward to finally playing this on console. I’ve played every single Atelier release since the first Sophie game, and would love to see Koei Tecmo bring more of the classic games to modern platforms.
