The Code Vein PS4, Xbox One, and PC release date is September 27 internationally. However Indian gamers looking to buy the game on disc for PS4 and Xbox One will be waiting a few days more. According to updated retailer listings, the Code Vein India release date is now October 1 for PS4 and Xbox One, almost a week after its release the world over. No reason for the delay has been given and The Mako Reactor has reached to Bandai Namco’s India distributor, E-xpress for comment. We’ll update this story if we hear from the company.

That said, this isn’t the first Bandai Namco game in recent memory to be delayed, the most notable of which was Dark Souls 3. It got to a stage where no one in the supply chain could confirm when exactly that game would be available, resulting in a two week delay. Hopefully this won’t be the case with Code Vein. With the Code Vein review embargo lifting at 4pm CET (8:30pm IST) on September 26, it’ll be interesting to see how this anime-infused soulslike is received.

Code Vein PS4 and Xbox One India price

Code Vein for PS4 and Xbox One is available for pre-order for Rs. 3499. As of now, no pre-order bonuses have been mentioned on retailer listings for Code Vein. This is Rs. 500 more than the PC price of Rs. 2999 on Steam for India.

Code Vein PC, PS4, and Xbox One pre-order bonuses

  • Code Vein X God Eater Weapons: The Blanched Greatsword, Cerulean Spear and Crimson Longsword; three of the fan favourite weapons from the successful Bandai Namco’s series God Eater are making their way to Code Vein.
  • Blood Veil Ogre ‘Venous Claw’: Venous Claw is an exclusive type of Blood Veil Ogre; a devastating short-range weapon that’ll prove a Revenant’s best friend in their fight against the lost.
  • Accessory Set: Coming with a brand-new blood code ‘Harbinger’ for special character stats; exclusive communication stamps for multiplayer’s coordination and customisation options to make one’s Revenant truly shine.

Code Vein releases on September 27 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC internationally with the first two seeing a retail release while the PC version is digital and only available on Steam.
