- To use the Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires Military Units DLC, in Conquest Mode, choose Political Commands – Info – Player Info – Military Unit Settings.
- To use the Palace DLC, go to conquest mode, choose from Political Commands – Info – System – Change palace.
- To use armor DLC, go to Edit Mode and select the content from the corresponding type of armor.
