Bandai Namco Entertainment just announced the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. We don’t have any release date details or more than a piece of artwork the official account Tweeted. I’m surprised it took this long to get any DLC or expansion announced, but I will be definitely playing it first on Steam Deck and then on PS5 or Xbox depending on how I find the expansion. As of now a price point hasn’t been announced. Check out the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree expansion announcement Tweet below:

Elden Ring has been getting a few patches since launch focused on PvP mostly and balance adjustments, but this is great news. I hope we eventually get the ray tracing update as well. I’ll definitely be grabbing this expansion on all platforms when it launches. It remains it to be seen if the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree expansion releases this year and if we get a complete Elden Ring Game of the Year edition with DLC included on disc. Hopefully we get a trailer for the expansion before TGS 2023 or more gameplay details revealed soon.

Elden Ring is out now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam worldwide.
