At the recent State of Play, Square Enix released a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for PS5 and confirmed its release date. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth releases in February 2024 for PS5 and will ship on 2 discs physically as revealed before, but thanks to an interview with Game Informer, we now know the download size and split. The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth download size of 150GB has been confirmed, and it will ship on two discs to not scale back content and ideas. The team envisioned this game to be bigger and more immersive than Final Fantasy VII Remake. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the second game in the Final Fantasy VII Remake project retelling the story of Final Fantasy VII over three games.
