After originally announcing a plethora of Final Fantasy games coming to Xbox Game Pass, Square Enix has slowly been bringing more of the series to the console through digital releases and then on Xbox Game Pass. Final Fantasy IX’s new release debuted on iOS and Android devices before it released on Steam. It was then ported to PS4 before seeing an Xbox One, Windows 10, and Nintendo Switch release. Today, Final Fantasy IX is available on Xbox Game Pass. Since it is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, it is also available on Xbox Game Pass for PC. Watch the trailer for it below:

If you have an active Xbox Game Pass subscription, you can download Final Fantasy IX right now. It is unclear which Final Fantasy game will be added to Xbox Game Pass next. The next game I’m looking forward to that will be releasing on Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass at the same time is Yakuza Kiwami 2.

Final Fantasy IX is available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and PC platforms.
