Following its announcement last month, SNK just released The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match on the PS Store for PS4 worldwide. The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match is the definitive version of The King of Fighters 2002 featuring the most characters in the series and more recently rollback netcode on Steam. Until now, the only modern platforms that had The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match have been PC (on Steam) and Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility. SNK has confirmed that The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match for PS4 is getting a physical release this Spring.

The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match is priced at $14.99 internationally at Rs. 1,099 in India on the PS Store. The physical release will be priced at $24.99.

The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match PS4 online modes

The online modes and features included are below:

  • Rollback netcode: KOF 2002 UM features updated rollback netcode that greatly reduces online lag during matches. Players are able to tweak settings in order to improve their online experiences.
  • QOL online versus features: KOF 2002 UM includes online features that allow players to study their matches and learn from their mistakes. These include the ability to re-watch one’s 10 most recent online matches, options that enable win/loss counters, and cooldowns to prevent re-matching after a quick bout.
  • Rank Match: Results are shared and ranked online.
  • Player Match: Set your own versus battle settings.

The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match is out now on PS4, PC, and Xbox via backward compatibility.
