Unlike Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal that have turn-based combat, Persona 5 Strikers is a hack and slash action game that plays a lot like the Warriors/Musou games seeing you face off against hordes of enemies across stages. It blends in the Persona 5 gameplay well and feels more akin to how Dragon Quest Heroes adapted Dragon Quest mechanics into the Warriors gameplay.

Persona 5 Strikers includes Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulty options in the beginning. You can unlock Risky difficulty after completing the game once in the Japanese version.
