Back in December, Falcom announced a sequel to The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki in the form of The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II Crimson Sin for Japan. While the first game only released on PS4, The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II Crimson Sin will also release on PS5 in Japan this fall. Today, Falcom has updated the Japanese Kuro no Kiseki II website with details like fishing, combat additions, and released the first gameplay trailer for the game. The teaser trailer below has spoilers for the first Kuro no Kiseki game so be warned. Watch the first trailer for The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II Crimson Sin below:
The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II Crimson Sin English release
The West is still waiting to get multiple game release dates with Falcom games set to release between now and 2023. Hopefully we don’t need to wait until 2024 for the first Kuro no Kiseki game. The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II Crimson Sin is likely going to release later though. As of now, both Kuro no Kiseki games haven’t been confirmed for an English release.
A PS5 version is definitely good news for the eventual Western release. When the games come to the West, PC and Switch versions will be added as well assuming NIS America is handling publishing. Note that these games are years away for the West at this point and I’m as annoyed about that as you.
The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II Crimson Sin releases in fall 2022 for PS5 and PS4 in Japan.
