Loop8: Summer of Gods is out now worldwide on all consoles and PC via Steam through Xseed Games. The release in the West outside North America on console is handled by Marvelous Europe. Today, Loop8: Summer of Gods has been Steam Deck Verified by Valve following its launch as spotted by The Mako Reactor reader Mor. This change happened a few hours ago. If you’ve not kept up with the game, it got two updates leading into launch. I like a few of the ideas, but it sadly still feels lacking overall. This is definitely a game that will be worth grabbing in the future as the physical edition will probably be very rare. Details for its updates and editions are below:

  • Added an option to skip the animation for receiving blessings to the settings menu.
  • Added an option to skip attack animations in battles to the settings menu.

The Loop8: Summer of Gods Celestial Edition is available for $69.99 while the standard edition is priced at $49.99. This is available at the Xseed Games store and other retailers.

The Celestial Edition for Loop8: Summer of Gods includes a 5.25” by 7.25” softcover ‘Ashihara Town Guide’ containing over 50 pages of artwork and information from the game, a musical selections CD with select songs from the soundtrack, a 7” by 10.5” mini wall scroll, and an authentic 4” by 3.15” Japanese wooden ema as an offering for the in-game Ashihara Shrine, all packaged with the game in a custom box.
