Following a recent reveal of new characters for Master Detective Archives: Rain Code (Enigma Archives: Rain Code) from Too Kyo Games and Spike Chunsoft, the publisher announced a physical bonus in the form of a voucher code for a novel. The Master Detective Archives: Rain Code Digital Novel will be included as a code in physical editions. Quantities are limited as of this writing for the vouchers included. Today, Spike Chunsoft revealed new Master Detective Archives: Rain Code Digital Novel details. The Digital Novel is titled How to Be a Master Detective: A Yakou Furio Case. The digital novel How to Be a Master Detective: A Yakou Furio Case is an original, newly written story about the younger days of Yakou Furio, the head of the Nocturnal Detective Agency. It will be a prequel to the main story of the game. It contains no spoilers and can be read before playing the game. The digital novel is supervised by Kazutaka Kodaka, main scenario writer for Master Detectives Archives: Rain Code, and it has been written by Yoichiro Koizumi.

Following the Master Detective Archives: Rain Code Switch new characters revealed today, I’m curious to see if we get a demo for the game in the lead up to its June launch. Hopefully this runs a lot better than the Danganronpa Decadence release did on Nintendo Switch when it released.
