FDG Entertainment and Game Atelier have been updating Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom across all platforms since launch and even added a nifty feature for Nintendo Switch Lite owners in the last major update for the console. Today, FDG Entertainment confirmed a PS5 and Xbox Series X version of Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom with support for 4K and 120fps. This update will be free for existing owners as well. As of now, the company confirmed that there are no plans right now for a Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom PS5 and Xbox Series X physical release. Current PS4 physical copies will get the upgrade for free though.
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is now available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
