NieR Replicant from Square Enix finally released worldwide on Friday for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The enhanced remake and remaster hybrid of the original NieR released in Japan a day prior. I’ve been playing it over the last few days on Xbox One X and will have a review of it soon. According to a detailed report from video game technical analysis channel ElAnalistaDeBits, the NieR Replicant resolution and frame rate have been revealed for PS4, Xbox One, PS4 Pro, and Xbox One X. NieR Replicant PS4 vs Xbox One resolution and graphics
According the analysis video above, NieR Replicant runs at 1080p on both PS4 and PS4 Pro. On Xbox, it runs at 792p on base Xbox and 1440p on Xbox One X. The draw distance is the same on all for elements but higher on Xbox One X for shadow draw distance. Shadows are better on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X overall. Anisotropic filtering is better on Xbox platforms as well.
Nier Replicant PS4 vs Xbox One frame rate and performance
The NieR Replicant frame rate target is 60fps on all platforms. The frame rate is stable in the areas ElAnalistaDeBits tested on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. PS4 and base Xbox One have some drops with them being most noticeable on PS4. Load times are faster on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X with base PS4 being the slowest.
NieR Replicant is out now worldwide on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The physical release for PS4 and PC in India has been pushed by a week.
