Nioh 2 finally got announced for PC and Team Ninja just announced a PS5 remaster for both Nioh and Nioh 2 with multiple release and upgrade options. The Nioh Collection includes both Nioh and Nioh 2 Remastered with all DLC. Those who own Nioh 2 and any DLC on PS4 can upgrade to the respective versions on PS5. As of now, an upgrade path for Nioh hasn’t been announced for PS5. The upgrade path is for Nioh 2. Watch the trailer for The Nioh Collection on PS5 below:
Nioh 2 PS4 to PS5 save transfer
Saves on PS4 can be transferred to PS5 as confirmed by Sony and Team Ninja.

Nioh 2 PS4 to PS5 upgrade
Sony and Team Ninja have announced the following upgrade path
- Players that own Nioh 2 – The Complete Edition on PS4 can upgrade to Nioh 2 Remastered – The Complete Edition on PS5 at no additional cost.
- Players that own Nioh 2 on PS4 can upgrade to the base game – Nioh 2 Remastered on PS5, and receive the PS5 version of any DLC expansions they own on PS4.
Nioh 2 PS5 physical release
Both Nioh and Nioh 2 Complete Edition are getting physical releases in Japan from Koei Tecmo. Sony is the publisher in North America, India, and Europe and it is yet to announce a retail release for PS5.
