To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the series, Koei Tecmo released Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening for consoles and PC worldwide this week. Today, Koei Tecmo confirmed released the previously-announced Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening Japanese voice update on PC via Steam. This is coming to consoles soon as well. Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening Japanese voice update patch notes for Steam

This update is the 1.0.8 update for Steam. The patch notes are below:

Functional Improvements and Adjustments
– Added a function to switch the voice audio language between Japanese and English.
– Adjusted the duration of time for option to renegotiate a truce to become available after failing one.
– Made a change so that progress of land development will not reset even when marching.
– Added a function to edit unique policies for In-Game Edit > Edit Clan.
– Added a refine function to filter officers during In-Game Edit > Officer Edit.
– Adjusted the affiliations of several officers when they become of age under certain conditions.
Critical Bug Fixes
– Fixed an issue that caused the game to stop when opening the officer list under certain condition.
– Fixed an issue that caused the game to stop when giving domains during truce negotiations under certain condition.
Bug Fixes
– Fixed several issues around officer affiliation when beginning a scenario.
– Fixed an issue that caused the units to stop responding during battles under certain condition.
– Fixed an issue that caused units to slip pass key points during battles under certain condition.
– Fixed an issue where editing of traits was not reflected in historical officer edit.
– Fixed an issue that caused treasures to become unavailable to be taken from officers under certain condition.
– Fixed several issues around event conditions.
– Fixed other minor issues such as typos.

Nobunaga’s Ambition: Awakening day one patch notes

The patch notes via the 1.01 update history on PS4 are below:

Functional Improvements and Adjustments:

  • Changed the condition for traits to be activated during Event Battles.
  • Adjusted the condition for the trait “Faithful Adjutant” to be activated.

Critical Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue that caused the game to sometimes stop responding after accepting a negotiation suggestion.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the game to stop under certain condition after selecting an advice for a “Siege”.
  • Fixed an issue where saved data for DLC scenario cannot be loaded under certain condition.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed several issues related to Event Battles.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Construction to not occur while Castle Town Plan is set.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Direct Talks to not occur after occupying an enemy castle using a Province War Tactic.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Loyalty to not increase under certain condition.
  • Fixed an issue where effects of an Alias gained through Battle Achievement did not activate on the battle field.
  • Fixed the condition for effect of the “Forty-Eight Hawks” policy to be activated.
  • Fixed an issue that affects the progression of game when promising the same castle for multiple officers during Direct Talks.
  • Fixed other minor issues such as typos.
