Koei Tecmo Europe just released a new update for Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV on PS4 and PC. This update is the version 1.08 update on PS4 and is also available on PC via Steam as Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV version 1.0.12. Koei Tecmo has been updating the game a fair bit ever since launch bringing in Chinese voices, new paid DLC, and much more including 60fps gameplay on PC. The patch notes for the August update have been revealed for both PS4 and PC. The update download size is 98.96MB on PS4. ●Function Expansion/Adjustments
- Adjusted AI related to Foreign.
- Now, the animation for the effects of neighboring areas is displayed not only for units, but for bases as well.
●Bug fixes
- When the mission of an officer that has the trait “Recruiter” is Move or Return, the number of days until they return is now correctly displayed.
- Corrected an issue in which, if the “Effect of Neighboring Areas” under “Scenario Settings 2” was set to “Large” or “Normal”, the effects were incorrectly also applied to regions that were not neighboring.
- Corrected typographical errors and messages.
- Corrected an issue in which, if a certain procedure was performed, the game would stop when attempting to perform an Autosave.（PS4）
- Corrected an issue in which, if a certain procedure was performed, the camera on the map could no longer be rotated.（PS4）
Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV August DLC
Today, the following DLC has gone live:
- Scenario: “In the Mist of an Endless Dream” Legend of the Galactic Heroes Collaboration Reinhard & Yang Officer Data Set
- Legend of the Galactic Heroes Collab: Galactic Empire Volume 2 and FPA Volume 2.
These are included in the season pass as well.
