Atlus just launched a new teaser website for Soul Hackers counting down to February 21 at 8 PM JST. Alongside this website launch, all the global social media channels for Atlus have shared the news basically confirming the announcement will be global. The website also has a specific time mentioned of 8 PM JST today which implies some sort of reveal happening later today. Soul Hackers was listed separately by Sega Sammy last May in the financial report as a past IP/brand being considered for a new release of some form.
Soul Hackers is one of the most interesting Atlus releases on 3DS for its vibe, music, and gameplay. It took me a little bit to get into the gameplay structure, but it is definitely a hidden gem on the 3DS and one of Atlus’ best non Etrian Odyssey releases on the platform.
