Super Mario Maker 2 for the Nintendo Switch is getting a huge update. Dubbed as the Super Mario Maker 2 Update 2, it adds a ton of new content to the game. The biggest of these is the Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda series which completely change the way a level is tackled, allowing you to use a shield, bombs, and arrows as well as turning your character into 8-bit Link.  There are other new course parts such as the P Block and Frozen Coin that will also be available.

In addition to this, Nintendo also revealed Ninji Speedruns. These are levels authored and curated by Nintendo with strict time limits. Completing them nets you a gold star cosmetic for your Mii that will be displayed for a certain period of time as well as bragging rights. Here’s everything that Super Mario Maker 2 brings to the table.
