NIS America previously announced that it is bringing Furyu’s The Caligula Effect: Overdose to PS5. The sequel is also coming to PS5 as NIS America just revealed. The Caligula Effect 2, like The Caligula Effect: Overdose, launched on PS4, Switch, and PC in the West. The Caligula Effect 2 PS5 release date is set for fall 2023 with a standard physical release planned. It is unclear who is handling the port and whether it will include all prior paid DLC. A standard edition with an NIS America retailer exclusive bonus is available here. A specific collector’s edition has not been revealed for The Caligula Effect 2 on PS5 yet.
I’m very interested to try out both The Caligula Effect: Overdose and The Caligula Effect 2 on PS5 after being disappointed by the PS Vita version of the original and Switch versions on a technical level. Check out the official website here.
