NIS America previously announced that it is bringing Furyu’s The Caligula Effect: Overdose to PS5 this year. The Caligula Effect: Overdose for PS4, Switch, and PC was an enhanced version of the PS Vita original game. NIS America just announced the The Caligula Effect: Overdose PS5 release date for North America, Europe, and Oceania. A standard edition with an NIS America retailer exclusive bonus is available here. A specific collector’s edition has not been revealed for The Caligula Effect: Overdose on PS5 yet.
I’m very interested to try out The Caligula Effect: Overdose on PS5 after being disappointed by the PS Vita and Switch versions on a technical level. Hopefully this one looks and runs good in addition to using DualSense features.
The Caligula Effect: Overdose is out now on PS4, Switch, and Steam worldwide. The Caligula Effect: Overdose PS5 release date is set for May 30 in North America, June 2 in Europe, and June 9 in Oceania. It is available on PC via Steam here.
