The King of Fighters XIII Global Match from SNK is coming to PS4 and Nintendo Switch with rollback netcode and improved online functions. This was announced alongside the KOF XV roadmap and new DLC. The King of Fighters XIII is currently available on PS3 and Xbox 360 while being playing on Xbox One and Xbox Series through backward compatibility. I’ve played a decent amount of the Xbox version on my Xbox Series X and the PC version on Steam Deck. I’m looking forward to this new one with rollback. Watch the trailer below:

The King of Fighters XIII Global Match physical release for PS4 and Switch

This will likely get a physical release in all regions. I’m curious to see if it is confirmed that Code Mystics is handling this one. The developer has done fantastic work with SNK’s games so far.

It is going to be interesting to see what comes next. I was sure KOF 13 might be left behind, but this is great news since there is no native way to play it on PS4, PS5, or Switch right now.

The King of Fighters XIII Global Match is in development for PS4 and Nintendo Switch release. The open beta is coming soon.
