The King of Fighters XIII Global Match from SNK was announced for PS4 and Nintendo Switch with rollback netcode and improved online functions a little while ago. The King of Fighters XIII is currently available on PS3 and Xbox 360 while being playing on Xbox One and Xbox Series through backward compatibility. Today, SNK released the Rollback Netcode Open Beta Test for PS4 and detailed the modes included.

The KOF13 Global Match open beta test will run from Monday, June 5 (7 PM PDT) through Sunday, June 11 (7 PM PDT) on both Playstation 4 and 5. Download it here.

This will likely get a physical release in all regions. I’m curious to see if it is confirmed that Code Mystics is handling this one. The developer has done fantastic work with SNK’s games so far.
It is going to be interesting to see what comes next. I was sure KOF 13 might be left behind, but this is great news since there is no native way to play it on PS4, PS5, or Switch right now.
