Wild Hearts from Koei Tecmo and EA recently released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms. Since launch, it has received a few updates to address issues in the next generation hunting game. Today, the developers have released the Wild Hearts April update. This is the Wild Hearts version 1.2.0 update bringing in Murakumo, Spinning Top Karakuri, Limit Break System, and more. There will also be a second update arriving later in the month bringing a new quest type. I’m interested to see what Koei Tecmo brings to the game through this year, because it is pretty great now barring the PC version still not being as good as it should be. This update is a 20GB download on Xbox Series X and is version 1.5.15.5 on the console.Watch the update trailer below:

New Murakumo kemono added
New Spinning Top fusion karakuri has been added: This can be awakened in battle against the Murakumo. Additional skills related to this have been added.
Limit break system: New core orbs can be earned by successfully hunting volatile kemono. You can use these for limit breaking weapons and armor.

How to unlock Murakumo in Wild Hearts after the April 2023 update
After completing the main story, players can accept the “Remnants of Reverie” request in Minato.
On completion of the above request, a new quest – “Blossoms of Oblivion” is added to the side stories section,
New weapons and armor can be forged using Murakumo materials.

You can buy the Karakuri Edition at 20% off on PS5 from now until April 12. The standard edition will be 20% off from April 12 to April 26. On XBox Series X|S, both editions will be 20% off from April 7 until April 20.
Wild Hearts April 2023 Update Roadmap
Following today’ update bringing Murakumo, Spinning Top Karakuri, the Limit Break System, new weapons and armor, another update is planned for the end of the month. April 20 will see the Deeply Volatile Kemono, Deathhaze Gloombeak arrive alongside Serial Hunts quest type.
Wild Hearts Karakuri Edition
This edition includes the base game and six exclusive items: the Karakuri Samurai and Karakuri Ninja armor sets, a decorative Tsukumo Lantern, and three Emotes. If you pre-order the Karakuri Edition you will also receive the Ferocious Kemono Emote and five Chat Stamps.
