D3 Publisher just announced (via Gematsu) a Nintendo Switch port of Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair. Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair debuted on PS4 in the West through Xseed Games in 2015 before it saw a PC port on Steam by D3 Publisher in 2016. It is a fantastic way to get into Earth Defense Force and it remains a joy to play even today. It is now coming to Nintendo Switch in Japan.
