D3 Publisher and Sandlot just revealed the followup to Earth Defense Force 5. Earth Defense Force 5 debuted on PS4 and saw a PC release months later via Steam. The massive third person shooter series will see its newest mainline entry arrive next year in the form of Earth Defense Force 6. Earth Defense Force 6 has a more brown look to it compared to prior games. It is also being developed by Sandlot and not Yuke’s like Earth Defense Force Iron Rain. Earth Defense Force 6 platforms
As of now, platforms have not been confirmed. It is safe to assume that Earth Defense Force 6 will release on PS5 with PS4 and get a PC port down the line if not the same day it hits the West.
