Nintendo released the first big update for Splatoon 2 recently and the game got a small unannounced update today on Nintendo Switch. The version 5.2.0 update brought balance changes to weapons, changes made to the penalty for disconnecting often from games, and more. Today, the company released Splatoon 2 version 5.2.1 on Nintendo Switch worldwide. This is a very small download as expected. Watch the trailer for the Splatoon 2 expansion below:

  • Fixes an issue where, when equipped with a Dualie-type weapon, players can slide a certain way in order to move further in the air than normal
  • Fixed an issue where players can land in a different position after activating a Booyah Bomb and quickly cancelling it.
