With Animal Crossing: New Horizons little over a month away, more details have started to surface about the first Nintendo Switch entry in the Animal Crossing series. While it was already confirmed that the game would not have cloud save backup support, we now know the download size thanks to a retailer listing in Germany translated by NintenDaan. Nintendo recently announced a special edition console for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Check it out here. Animal Crossing New Horizons download size
The Animal Crossing: New Horizons download size is 6.2GB. Digital pre-orders will likely be available from February 8 or soon after since that is when the game will be available to pre-order in Japan.
Will Animal Crossing New Horizons support Amiibo?
The same listing also confirms Amiibo support but we don’t have details as to what scanning Amiibo will do in the game. Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer on 3DS and New Leaf both had Amiibo support for the Amiibo cards.
