Nintendo just released the Animal Crossing: New Horizons version 1.1.2 update on Nintendo Switch. This update arrives one day after the Bunny Day event began. If you’ve not played the event yet, check out my guide to unlock all the eggs and get new recipes here. The update download size is very small and the game updated in a few seconds on my console. If you were already on version 1.1.1 or 1.1.1a, make sure you update so that you don’t run into the issues described in the patch notes below.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons version 1.1.2 update patch notes

English patch notes for the update aren’t available yet. The Japanese patch notes are here. This update has fixes for animals who don’t move in when invited. For those who had already invited animals who haven’t moved in yet under certain conditions, those animals will not move in right now. This update also fixes an issue that caused Tom Nook to not ask you to secure new land for new animals. The update also fixes an update where deleting a user on the console made it impossible for you to relocate homes and certain facilities. This update fixes that issue. There have also been various bug fixes. Players on version 1.1.2 will not be able to play locally with those on earlier versions of the game.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now available on Nintendo Switch.
