At The Game Awards 2022, Bandai Namco and FromSoftware announced Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms. Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon is a new action game ten years after the last entry in the franchise featuring challenging and memorable battles, assembling mechs, massive bosses, and more. Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon is now Steam Deck Playable but not Verified by Valve ahead of release date. This change happened about 11 hours ago as spotted by The Mako Reactor reader Mor. Armored Core 6 is Steam Deck Playable and not “Verified” because some in-game text is too small. Hopefully this can be fixed so the game is Steam Deck Verified in the future. Watch the extended gameplay showcase for the game below:

In an interview with producer Yasunori Ogura at Digital Trends, they said Armored Core 6 will be fully supported on Steam Deck, so it is good to see it get marked as “Playable” by Valve already. I assume the success of Elden Ring on Steam Deck benefited the hardware itself as it was regularly in the most played games last year in Valve’s lists.
