Koei Tecmo and Gust’s Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key is finally here on PS5, PS4, Switch, and Steam worldwide following a delay. Today, Koei Tecmo and Gust have released the Atelier Ryza 3 version 1.4.0 update for all platforms ( Ver.1.004.000 on PS5, 1.06 on PS4, 1.4.0 on Switch, and 1.4.0.0 on Steam) with support for the two new paid DLC packs in the patch notes. This is the Atelier Ryza 3 Rosca Island DLC Patch featuring support for the new DLC packs and more. The download size is about 441MB on PS4 and generally small on all platforms. Atelier Ryza 3 version 1.4.0 update patch notes

The Atelier Ryza 3 1.06 update history on PS4 reveals the following:

  • Improved compatibility with the new DLCs.
  • Other minor adjustments and bug fixes.

Atelier Ryza 3 June 2023 DLC

  • Additional Area “Rosca Island” (Paid DLC) -Adds a new region (open field) and World Quests unique to that region.*There are no voices for the events.
  • Gust Extra BGM Pack (Paid DLC) – Adds BGM tracks from Gust titles that can be used to change the in-game BGM. A set of more than 400 BGM tracks from Gust titles, featuring tracks from Atelier Ryza 2, Atelier Sophie 2, and others.

Atelier Ryza 3 version 1.3.0 update patch notes

  • Additional Maximum Difficulty Patch.
  • – Added an option to change in-game BGM.
    This function can be accessed through the Diary in any atelier and allows the player to change the BGM that plays at specific scenes during the game.
  • – Fixed an issue that prevented players from unlocking the “Your own answer” achievement or trophy on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, or Steam® after completing Patricia’s quest in a specific order.
  • – Fixed an issue where Klaudia’s “Klaudia, the Artist” quest failed to occur under certain circumstances.
  • – Fixed an issue where it was sometimes impossible to continue the “The Underworld Forest” quest after being defeated in a battle against the Deranged King.
  • – Fixed an issue where, regardless of the gathering level or tools equipped, a “key” symbol is displayed on gathering points signifying that gathering requirements are not met.
  • – Improved compatibility with the new DLC.
  • – Other minor adjustments and bug fixes.

Atelier Ryza 3 version 1.2.1 update patch notes

The Atelier Ryza 3 depth of field update patch notes are below. This is version 1.002.001 on PS5, 1.04 on PS4, 1.2.1 on Switch, and 1.2.1.0 on Steam.

  • Adjustment of the depth of field for the overall game.
  • Adjusted the button input response time when connecting a normal attack to a skill attack during combat.
  • Fixed an issue that occasionally caused the surface of the water to disappear.
  • Adjusted the size of the copyright notice displayed in the lower left corner when a screenshot is taken with the video output setting of the PlayStation®5 or PlayStation®4 set to resolution other than 2160p.
  • – [For Steam] Fixed an issue where some key icons were not displayed correctly when using a 4K monitor.

The Atelier Ryza version 1.04 update patch notes via PS4 are below:

  • Adjustment of the depth of field for the overall game. 
  • Other minor adjustments and bug fixes.

Atelier Ryza 3 version 1.1.0 update patch notes

The patch notes are below. These likely apply to all platforms, but if things change, I’ll update this. This update is 1.02 on PS4 and version 1.001.000 on PS5.

Added photo mode enhancement update.
Added Weasel Roast, Devil Roast, & Lamb Roast.
Other minor adjustments and bug fixes.

Atelier Ryza 3 version 1.0.1 update patch notes

The patch notes are below. These likely apply to all platforms, but if things change, I’ll update this.

  • Fixed an issue that caused the game to crash when a specific operation was performed.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the game to stop responding after watching a specific cutscene or synthesizing a specific item.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to move to an unintended area under certain conditions.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the quest’s objective item to not appear in some of the main, normal and random quests.
  • Fixed an issue that caused a specific event to occur at an unintended timing.
  • Fixed display issues.
  • Other minor adjustments and bug fixes.
