Bandai Namco Entertainment has finally made multiple Dragon Ball games available on Steam in India after years of them not being accessible here officially. Some games worked through third-party key purchases on digital PC game retailers, but that has always been a risk depending on the game and publisher. The games available on Steam include Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, and both Dragon Ball Xenoverse games with DLC. Check out the complete Dragon Ball franchise on Steam here. Until today, these games either had a single DLC available here by accident, or didn’t show up at all in India on Steam.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is the most recent Dragon Ball game release from Bandai Namco Entertainment on PC, and it was not available in India until recently. This change happened literally 10 hours ago according to the game’s history on SteamDB as you can see here. The same applies to Xenoverse 2 and Dragon Ball FighterZ as I verified on SteamDB. The original Xenoverse seemingly went live for India went live a few days ago. It is great to see these games finally release here officially on Steam, but the pricing is not great. None of them have regional pricing and in many cases, buying the game on disc for console is cheaper than the base game on Steam. Keep that in mind with a big Steam sale coming in June.
Hopefully the One Piece games are next in line to be made available on Steam here.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 are finally out now on PC via Steam in India.
