A Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires demo is also coming in early 2022 for the West while the Japanese demo is already live. Currently, the Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires demo is available on the Japanese eShop, PS Store, and Microsoft Store. The English demo release date will be in early 2022.

The Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires includes the full version of the edit mode where you can transfer characters to the full version.

Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires PS5 physical release
The PS5 version of Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires will be digital-only. You can buy the PS4 disc and upgrade it on a PS5 console with a disc drive though.
Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires releases on February 15, 2022 for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series. It is coming to Google Stadia at a later date.
