Following the release, Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware’s Elden Ring has just been updated to version 1.03 on all platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox, and Steam. This is the fourth update following the launch day release and update. The patch has started rolling out worldwide now. The update download size is very small on PS5 and 201.9MB on PS4. It has released as version 1.003.002 on PS5 and 1.05 on PS4 with gameplay balance adjustments and bug fixes. If you missed the Steam PC requirements, read this. Elden Ring version 1.05 update patch notes
Once you download 1.05 and update on PS4, you can verify that you are on the latest patch by checking that the titlescreen of the game displays App Ver. 1.03.2 and Calibrations Ver. 1.03.2. The 1.05 update PS4 patch notes are below:

- Fixed a bug that sometime prevented players from advancing NPC Nepheli Loux’s questline
- Fixed a bug that causes the playable character to die when trying to descend from a spot near Bestial Sanctum
- Fixed a bug that prevented Ash of War, Endure from taking effect
- Fixed a bug in multiplayer that allowed players to teleport others to incorrect map coordinates
Bandai Namco Entertainment confirmed that ray tracing will come later on as well. Hopefully FromSoftware can focus on improving performance on consoles and PC before ray tracing because the game on PC is still not in a great state right now.
