Following the recent Final Fantasy XVI PS5 console bundle announcement, Square Enix has announced the soundtrack release date, editions, and more. The Final Fantasy 16 soundtrack release date is set for July 19 with two editions planned. The first is an ultimate edition featuring 8CDs while the regular soundtrack is a 6CD release. Pre-orders are now live for both editions in Japan and they should be up in Square Enix’s regional stores in the West later today. Final Fantasy XVI recently went gold well before its release date, and it was showcased during a dedicated State of Play revealing a ton of new Final Fantasy XVI gameplay details.
