Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, an updated and enhanced version of the excellent Final Fantasy VII Remake built for PS5, just released following the base game’s original launch on PS4. Read our Final Fantasy VII Remake PS4 review here. I’ll have a review of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on PS5 in the near future. Today, the Epic Games Store database (via @Wario64 and Gematsu) has listed Final Fantasy VII Remake. The final trailer (below) for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade mentioned that the game is exclusive to PS5 for at least six months before it can release on other formats. This means that the game cannot release on anything else until at least December.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Xbox and PC release date

The trailer above ended with a confirmation that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is PS5 console exclusive and that it will not release on any other format for at least six months. Console exclusive implies a PC version but the fact that it says not on any other format for at least six months is confusing. It is unclear right now if Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade can launch on PC and Xbox platforms six months later or that PC could be sooner.

Is Final Fantasy VII Remake Epic Games Store exclusive on PC?

It is also unclear from this listing whether Final Fantasy VII Remake is going to be exclusive to the Epic Games Store for PC or just release there alongside other storefronts like Steam. The Kingdom Hearts games on PC are exclusive to the Epic Games Store.

If Final Fantasy VII Remake does come to PC this December, it is unclear whether it will be just the base game or a bundle with Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade’s Episode Intermission or both. We will know for sure as the six month exclusivity window gets closer to completing.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is out now on PS4. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is out now on PS5 worldwide.
