Following the PS5 release of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, the updated and enhanced version of the excellent Final Fantasy VII Remake, part 2 has been officially titled Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth showcases a lot of surprises in its short trailer, but the biggest surprise for me is that it is seemingly coming very soon. The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth release date is set for winter 2023 on PS5. Given how long it took the original Final Fantasy VII Remake to release on PS4, I think everyone expected the second part to arrive at the end of the PS5 generation. As of now, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has only been announced for PS5. It is likely that it will come to PC later like Intergrade after the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth release date on PlayStation.

Check out the official website here. It looks like we are getting two mainline Final Fantasy games on PS5 in 2023 with Final Fantasy XVI and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
