Last year, Arc System Works announced that Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 and Revelator will both be getting rollback netcode on Steam. Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator and Rev 2 are available on PS4, PS3, and Steam, but only the PC version on Steam will be getting the update. The Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 Rollback Netcode Public Test began on October 17 for Steam. Today, the Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 Rollback Netcode Update has gone live with a discount on the game and bundles. Watch the Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator and Rev 2 announcement trailer from CEOtaku below:

More information is available on the official Steam pages for Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator and Rev 2 here. Check out the announcement post here. I’m glad to see Arc System Works go back and update these older games to be playable online for more people. Hopefully other publishers see this and how the playerbase responds to do it for their own games.

I’m interested to see what Arc System Works does next following the Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 rollback netcode update. There is a crossplay beta coming for Guilty Gear Strive soon as well.

Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 and Revelator are both out now on PS4, PS3, and Steam.
