SNK previously announced that The King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match Final Edition on Steam was to be updated with rollback netcode support in winter. This update has finally gone live after beta testing. The King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match Final Edition now has rollback netcode, spectating, lobbies, and more on Stea. Code Mystics continues to update classic games with rollback netcode making the communities for those games grow and also making the online in general a much better experience for all players. As of now, this update has only been released for The King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match Final Edition on Steam. Hopefully it does come to PS4 eventually, but nothing has been announced.
The King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match Final Edition is out now on PC via Steam and GOG.
