Alongside the new trailer for The King of Fighters XV, SNK announced that The King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match Final Edition on Steam will be updated with rollback netcode support. This update will be available in Winter. There will be a beta test for the netcode update as well. The King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match Final Edition’s netcode update follows SNK and Code Mystics updating older games on PC and consoles with netcode making the online communities for the game grow and also making the online in general a much better experience for all players. As of now, this update has only been announced for The King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match Final Edition on Steam. Hopefully it does come to PS4 eventually.
The King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match Final Edition is out now on PC via Steam and GOG.
