Square Enix recently announced a PS4 port of the Japanese arcade game in the form of Love Live! School Idol Festival After School Activity – Wai Wai Home Meeting. A Japanese arcade rhythm game getting a home console port isn’t really surprising but Square Enix announcing a worldwide English release is something not many people expected. Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs Maxiboost ON had an excellent conversion from arcade to home console from Bandai Namco Entertainment and it is going to be interesting to see how Love Live! Love Live! School Idol Festival After School Activity – Wai Wai Home Meeting includes 3D graphics in the performances of songs from Love Live! and will also have PlayStation 4 exclusive content that isn’t in the original arcade release. It is releasing as a free to play game with a few songs available as a base release.

Love Live! School Idol Festival After School Activity – Wai Wai Home Meeting includes a new View Live Show mode to enjoy performances without playing the rhythm game. A new Live Show Medley mode allows players watch up to 20 performances in a set list created. Barring the base game, 125 extra songs and more will be available through in-game unlocks or paid DLC.
