Earlier this week, ratings for Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, and Konami Collector’s Series: Castlevania and Contra on the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee leaked the existence of new releases for these games. Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2, and more classic Konami games are now available on GOG for PC. It is worth noting that these releases are not based on the remakes or modern conversions for PS3, Xbox 360, and PS Vita. GOG has added controller support as well to the games.
Metal Gear is available for $5.99, Metal Gear Solid is available for $9.99, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance is available for $9.99, and the Konami Collector’s Series: Castlevania and Contra is available for $5.99.
GOG continues to bring back old PC classics to modern systems. It is going to be interesting to see if Metal Gear Solid 3 ever comes to PC since it has never been released on a PC platform in any form. Check out the full Konami catalogue on GOG here.
