Aksys Games just announced that the shoot ’em up Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Burst Forth Choro-gon Breath is coming to North America this summer on PS4 and Nintendo Switch. This is the first console game based on the Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid IP, and it is a shoot ’em up developed by shoot ’em up developers Kaminari Games. It is currently available in Japan. Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Burst Forth Choro-gon Breath physical release for Switch and PS4 in the West

Aksys Games has revealed details for a Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Burst Forth Choro-gon Breath physical release on both Switch and PS4. It is priced at $39.99 with pre-orders available here.

The Aksys Games announcement doesn’t mention Europe or Australia so it is unclear if the publisher is also handling those regions or not. I will definitely be getting this when it releases on Switch to add to my shoot ’em up collection on the system. Check out the official Japanese website here. I’m surprised it is taking this long for it to get released in North America considering the Japanese version already includes English subtitles. I have to assume this delay is to get a retail release out.
