Square Enix just announced NEO: The World Ends With You for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. This is a brand new 3D action game featuring a new protagonist taking part in the Reaper’s Game from the original The World Ends With You. NEO: The World Ends With You is also set in Shibuya but features 3D movement. Check out the out the official website for NEO: The World Ends With You here. While NEO: The World Ends With You is coming to PS4 and Nintendo Switch, the original The World Ends With You is only available on Nintendo DS, iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch through different ports and releases. Given the controls being either pointer or touch for Nintendo Switch, I’m not surprised to not see a port to PS4 for the original without big changes to the controls. A PC port on the other hand could work with mouse controls.
NEO: The World Ends With You physical release and India release
A physical release is likely on both PS4 and Nintendo Switch but it hasn’t been announced yet. Square Enix is publishing this release worldwide unlike The World Ends With You: Final Remix which was published by Nintendo outside Japan. Thanks to this, an India release is likely considering even Balan Wonderworld from Square Enix is releasing here at retail.
