Square Enix’s Octopath Traveler debuted on Switch last year published by Nintendo and it was pretty great. It was rated for a PC release which finally got confirmed recently.
Today, Octopath Traveler’s Steam pre-orders begin and the pricing is not looking good for India. While a late port at full price (in this case $59.99 in USA) isn’t really shocking, the pricing for India is far too high.
Regional pricing is something many big publishers have ignore for India but pricing a game higher than the console version is pretty disappointing. You can buy Octopath Traveler on Switch for $59.99 and the India price on Steam is 4250 Rupees which is higher than the Switch pricing.
Octopath Traveler is available on Switch. It arrives on Steam on June 7th and pre-ordering it nets you 11 wallpapers. Check it out on Steam here.
