Nintendo’s previously announced Pikmin 3 Deluxe brings the base game with all DLC and extra content to Nintendo Switch this month. Pikmin 3 debuted on Wii U and is still regarded as one of the best games on the system. The real-time strategy adventure experience is just a few weeks away from arriving on Nintendo Switch with additional content. Last night, Nintendo showcased new footage for Pikmin 3 Deluxe and revealed a demo. The Pikmin 3 Deluxe demo is now available for free on Nintendo Switch worldwide. This is a 2.8GB download. You can download the Pikmin 3 Deluxe demo from here on the eShop for North America and here on the eShop for the UK.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe demo save transfer

You can transfer your save from the Pikmin 3 Deluxe demo to the full game. If you defeat the boss found in the demo, you will be able to use the new Ultra-Spicy Difficulty mode and get access to five Mission Mode stages from the startin the full version of Pikmin 3 Deluxe.

  • Pikmin at your pace: Return to your ship before time runs out, or you (and your Pikmin) could be in big trouble. If you prefer a more casual approach, a variety of difficulty settings, lock-on targeting and optional hints have been newly added. With less pressure, you have more time to strategically command your Pikmin and take in the lush scenery. 
  • Play side-story missions, head-to-head matches and more: This deluxe version of the Pikmin 3 game includes new side-story missions featuring Olimar and Louie, the ability to play Story mode with a friend and all DLC stages from the original release. Feeling competitive? Enjoy fierce head-to-head Bingo Battles and online leaderboards for Mission mode.
